To each their own though, I am looking forward to more content, am currently trying to get over the zone 30 wall.Įdit: To Bard Idle - also the user mentions the premium currency being VERY low in terms of how you get it (outside of buying it) and I do agree with them here. Also it is called idle for a reason because you can just let it go (automation setting unlocked through prestige really early on) and just farm up more prestige points which I will do. Maybe this is more strategy, I don't know. Eventually bit the bullet and grabbed a different master because it could still benefit a lot of my heroes. For instance like 2 runs ago for me, I wanted to do an undead run and got a lot of undead hero but just could not get the undead master to show up. which in turn make it easier to customize your run on the fly I have noticed. My addition, and maybe counter-argument, to this though is just like many incremental games, there is a prestige type system in the game and with those skill points, you can unlock more classes, damage, healing, other mechs, etc. The runs are rng so if you wanted to do a bow build (you grabbed the bow master as your first hero) but then NEVER got an archer after that OR never got any bow skills from your ballad lines, it is unfortunate which I do agree with. I will say I agree with him mildly but maybe not as passionately. There was a post a couple days ago on the sub about this game, in which the user essentially talked about the rng of the game and also the premium currency affecting it. I thoroughly enjoy this game and I notice there is not a lot of guides or discord posts or whatever out there which is kinda nice because I don't feel the desire to see if I am doing something right or wrong. Still super enjoy the game, the iap purchases are some QoL things but I like that you can use the premium currency to buy them.īard Idle interestingly released this past week, which is funny because I was inquiring about it last week in my post and bam, there it is. Read some tips and tweaks to try to get over the hump I artificially created for myself. I am starting to realize I have a theme here because even though I was fairly far in the grinding, it was through brute force and not efficiency. #Reddit tavern tycoon pixelation updateThere are iap as well and I would argue they are QoL but not a) not nearly as much as I mentioned in the above game and b) some of them are more QoL much later in the game so if you were more committed to the game by reaching that point, it might be easier to justify.įarmer Against Potatoes Idle just got an update which is cool, even though I haven't actually been able to do anything with it. This time I was ok with looking up what I was doing wrong because I have been playing it for close to a year. Idle Pins still playing this as well and enjoying it once I discovered some efficiency errors I was doing wrong. The iap bundles are really good QoL, unfortunately locked behind purely money which I don't really like (even though I got them because they are really good QoL and I can justify it with how long I have played it already) and wish they could have been bought with premium currency as well. The double edged sword here is that I looked up a beginner guide for some reason but saw a tip on there that is hard to ignore, thus having me grind quite a bit early game, which I suppose isn't everyone cup of tea. Really enjoy these types of games even though they can tend to get grindy quick.
